طالب شادي محمد قائد فريق الكرة بالأهلي الأسبق، معاقبة عمرو الجنايني رئيس اللجنة الخماسية لإدارة اتحاد الكرة المصري.

وانتشر مقطع فيديو في الفترة الأخيرة منسوب لـ الجنايني يوجه فيه انتقادات وسب لعدة جهات منها جماهير الأهلي.

وقال شادي محمد في تصريحات تلفزيونية عبر قناة النهار: “أطلب معاقبة ومحاسبة عمرو الجنايني لأنه سب جماهير الأهلي في الفيديو المسرب له”.

وتابع: “لا أعتقد أن المكالمة مفبركة ولكنه تطاول على الأهلي، ولابد من تحرك من النادي لمعاقبته على مابدر منه”.

وحول أزمة فضل وكهربا، أوضح: “المسؤول لا بد تصرفه يكون بحساب، عندما تكون في منصب يجب أن تنسى أهلاويتك لأن مسؤول عن الرياضة، وفضل صديق عزيز ولكن لا يجوز لمسؤول لمس يد لاعب”.

وواصل: “هذا الموقف لو كان معي شخصيًا كان ممكن تصرفي يكون أكثر من ذلك وأتحمل أي تصرف لرد فعلي، وغير مقبول أن تتطاول علي أي لاعب في الأهلي من الأصغر للأكبر”.

واختتم: “الفيديوهات كلها ظهرت أن محمد فضل تتطاول على اللاعب بدون وجه حق، لا يوجد مسؤول في العالم يذهب ليشتبك مع لاعب، وكهربا لن يخطئ عندما لم يصافحه”.

Despite guiding his boyhood team to promotion to the Premier League there are still signs that Chris Wilder is unsettled at Bramall Lane as he spoke to Sky Sports News (29 April, 12:15pm).

The Blades manager has been in charge at the club since 2016 and has previously called into question the ownership.

The Yorkshire outfit are currently jointly-owned by local businessman Kevin McCabe and Saudi Arabian Prince Abdullah bin Musa’ad bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. Both men have been trying to buy each other out. this has led to a lack of financial backing much to the displeasure of the manager.

Unhappy history

Last year Wilder called into question his future at the club saying that he would struggle to continue if the issues behind the scenes weren’t resolved.

“It’s 100 per cent critical it gets resolved,” he said. “I can’t do my job properly unless there is a direction and decision from them.

“Any club that wants to be successful has to have harmony, direction and a plan. There isn’t a plan, there isn’t direction, and there isn’t harmony either. That, unfortunately, is fact.

“If it stays the same, I don’t think anybody would be surprised if I didn’t question where my career is going.”

Ongoing frustrations

Fast forward 12 months and Wilder is still at the helm but the issues behind the scenes are still there. McCabe and the Prince seem to be at a stalemate and Wilder’s comments on Sky Sports News show that he isn’t hopeful ahead of the upcoming transfer window despite the club’s promotion.

Speaking on Sky Sports News (April 29, 12:15pm) the manager said:

“It’s not an open chequebook culture here, we’ve got players who will play in the Premier League who played for us in League One.”

The 51-year-old surely isn’t looking to play the same players who he utilised in League One due to loyalty or by choice. Financial restraints are holding Sheffield United back and these latest comments by Wilder perhaps show his frustrations with the ownership creeping back in.

The fact of the matter is that the only player in the current Blades squad who cost over £4 million is John Egan, a transfer which was subsided by the £11.5 million sale of David Brooks.

Although he has been able to produce incredible results on a shoestring budget so far, winning promotion twice in three years. The Blades boss has every right to complain if he doesn’t receive the funds required to keep his team in the Premier League next season.

According to The Sun, Leicester are pondering whether to move for James Tarkowski should Harry Maguire leave.

The report claims that Manchester City are interested in the Foxes centre-half who continues to rise in stock.

Losing Maguire would be huge for Leicester but should he be sold, they’d take a considerable windfall as The Sun are suggesting City may have to pay a world-record fee for a defender for his services.

With his departure looming, Tarkowski is being touted as the former Hull man’s possible replacement.

The Burnley defender was brilliant last term but hasn’t found the same sort of consistency throughout 2018/19. However, he’s still found himself a part of Gareth Southgate’s England side.

Rated at £13.5m according to Transfermarkt, Football FanCast writers have given their verdicts on whether he’d be a good successor to Maguire. Here’s what they had to say.

Billy Meyers:

“I think James Tarkowski would be an ideal Harry Maguire replacement. The Burnley defender is an England international, like Maguire, is composed on the ball, and is also a rock-solid defender. If Leicester can recoup a huge fee for a player they paid just £17m for, and then get Tarkowski in for around the same figure, it would represent remarkable business.”

Luke Glanville:

“If they have ambitions of breaking into the top six and into Europe on a more permanent basis, Leicester must keep Harry Maguire. However, if they can’t, Tarwkowsi would be a promising, like-for-like replacement.

At the King Power, he could follow a similar path to the one Maguire has, joining from a lower top-flight team and flourishing, thus making his place in the England side more assure. And the Foxes would be getting a player with the potential to become a Three Lions regular. This would be a smart, smart move for Brendan Rodgers, but only in the event of Maguire’s departure.”

Harry Sherlock:

“Tarkowski would be an excellent replacement for Maguire. He’s a superb tackler of the ball and is a proficient Premier League player who has been central to Burnley’s recent resurgence. If Leicester can get him in, and do it cheaply, then they’ll be absolutely set. It’s a no-brainer.”

According to ExWHUemployee, West Ham United were interested in James Maddison last season but ultimately decided against a move for the attacker.

Maddison scored 15 times for Norwich City during the 2017-18 campaign before joining Leicester City in last summer’s transfer window.

The 22-year-old has been in impressive form for the Foxes this season – scoring seven times and contributing seven assists in 35 Premier League appearances.

According to ExWHUemployee, former Hammers boss David Moyes decided that Maddison was not good enough after watching him against Chelsea in the FA Cup.

That news has not gone down well with the West Ham fans, though, with many taking to social media to criticise the decision.

Discussion over Ryan Kent’s future has been a key topic for Rangers fans to stew over in recent weeks and his brilliant display against Celtic on Sunday has brought his future under the microscope.

What’s the word?

The loanee from Liverpool has been a devastating outlet for the Gers this season in fleeting bursts. Consistency has eluded him but there have been enough displays of genuine quality to suggest that he’s a player Steven Gerrard should look to sign this summer.

And that’s an argument which has been peddled by BBC Scotland’s chief sports writer, Tom English, who has hinted that the Gers should aim to sign him on another loan deal this summer, per BBC.

‘There will be changes this summer, but on that performance, you wouldn’t be changing much about that Rangers team.

‘If they can get Ryan Kent on another season-long loan from Liverpool, what a difference that can make.’

Unlikely to happen

Everybody associated with Rangers would be delighted if Kent signed on another season-long loan but it seems unlikely that the Reds would be willing to accept a deal on those terms.

After all, Kent has been uninspiring on previous loan spells away from Anfield and they will be acutely aware that this is the perfect time to sell.

His stock is high at the end of a promising season at Ibrox, and suitors are likely to be willing to sign him on a permanent basis with his recent development in mind.

There is an obvious risk attached to sending him on loan for another season: a major injury or loss of form will see his market value tumble downwards once more, leaving Liverpool in a situation where they would struggle to attract an enticing fee for his signature.

At this stage Rangers will almost certainly need to stump up a figure to bring the 22-year-old to the club and the prospect of another loan deal seems unlikely to say the least, despite English’s verdict on the matter.

Dapo Mebude made his first-team debut for Rangers in their 2-1 loss at Kilmarnock in the Scottish Premiership on Sunday afternoon.

It was not exactly the best way for Steven Gerrard’s side to end 2018-19 campaign, but there were positives to be taken from the loss.

One of those was certainly a debut for Mebude.

Indeed, the London-born forward is just 17 years of age and he will never forget the day that he turned out for the Scottish giants for the first time.

It was not just a little taste of first-team action, either, with Mebude given a good 30 minutes of football at Rugby Park.

It remains to be seen what type of future the teenager has at Ibrox and indeed in football in general.

However, the Gers fans were delighted to see him in action at the weekend, with a number taking to social media to lavish praise on the attacker.
