Fabrizio Romano has relayed an update from Kalvin Phillips concerning his future at Leeds United.

In a recent post on Twitter, the Italian transfer insider and journalist relayed recent comments made by the defensive midfielder concerning the increasing speculation regarding his future at Elland Road, in which the 26-year-old appeared to suggest that is he more than happy in LS11.

Considering just how important Phillips has proven to be for Leeds in recent years, the midfielder’s suggestion that he wants to be at the club despite being linked with a £50m move away is sure to be news that the Elland Road faithful will love.

Indeed, over his 29 Premier League appearances last season, the £45m-rated talent was undoubtedly the Whites’ star player, making 1.6 interceptions, 2.6 tackles and 1.7 clearances and winning 5.3 duels (at a success rate of 52%) per game.

The £38k-per-week England international also impressed going forwards, scoring one goal, registering two assists and creating five big chances for his team-mates, along with averaging 1.2 key passes, 4.7 long balls and 41 passes per match.

These returns saw the Thorp Arch academy graduate average a quite breathtaking SofaScore match rating of 7.21, not only ranking him as his club’s best performer in the top flight but also as the ninth-best midfielder in the league as a whole.

While injury has severely limited the 26-year-old’s involvement in the current campaign, he has nevertheless impressed over the 16 league fixtures in which he has featured, making 1.2 interceptions, 2.6 tackles and 0.8 clearances and winning 4.6 duels per game.

As such, while it would appear all but certain that Phillips will move onto pastures new if the Whites fail to secure their place in the Premier League next season, the midfielder’s latest comments regarding his future are sure to come as a huge boost to supporters’ hopes that the Englishman’s long-term future could yet still be at Elland Road.

O processo envolvendo o Atlético-MG e Fred ainda está sendo analisado naCâmara Nacional de Resolução de Disputas (CNRD), da CBF. O clube alvinegro cobramulta de R$ 10 milhões do atacantepor ter infringido a cláusula do contrato que impede o centroavante de jogar no Cruzeiro.

A defesa de Fred discute a validade jurídica da cobrança e tenta sustentar que ao interferir em contratos do jogador com outros clubes, o Galo esbarra na Lei Pelé. O staff do atacante também defende quecláusulas dessa natureza devem ser remuneradas, como uma espécie de indenização ao atleta, pela proibição do profissional de atuar em outro time.

O Atlético-MG, também na CNRD, rebateu os argumentos. Para ovice-presidente do clube, Lásaro Cândido da Cunha, a multa não é abusiva e é de direito do clube alvinegro.

– Eles estão argumentando que a multa não poderia ser fixada. No direito não há nada 100%, mas se a tese deles tivesse pertinência, você não poderia fixar multa (rescisória). Se o jogador quisesse sair, ele sairia. Eles se escoram em um artigo do estatuto Fifa que diz que o clube não pode interferir na transferência do atleta para outro clube. Mas são coisas distintas. Uma coisa é interferir, outra coisa é direito de multa. O próprio estatuto Fifa permite isso (fixação de multa). Não tem nada de errado nisso ao nosso ver. E tem um agravante para ele e ponto benéfico para nós: é uma multa que não é abusiva. Pelo contrário. É 10% do valor originário (que era de R$ 100 milhões). O clube que o acolheu assumiu a responsabilidade pelo pagamento, então não podem falar em qualquer prejuízo para ele. Além do mais, outra coisa que a gente coloca é que ele é assistido por advogados, agentes, que são os mesmos que participaram de todas as tratativas e da discussão jurídica no momento da saída do Atlético. Para finalizar, o clube que o recebeu renunciou à discussão da multa. Essa foi a condição que ele colocou (para assinar com o Cruzeiro). Eles se comprometeram e disseram que não iam discutir a multa. São todos esses elementos (que sustentam a réplica do Atlético-MG) – afirmou o dirigente.

A Câmara pode, agora, encerrar a etapa de argumentação e prosseguirpara o julgamento ou pode, ainda, chamar as partes para novos depoimentos. O Cruzeiro pode vir a setornar parte do processo. O clube celeste, inclusive, fez um pedido formal para que isso aconteça. O pedido de ingressão ainda nãofoi julgado.

Three Pakistani players will have to wait until February 5 to discover the eventual outcome of the spot-fixing charges laid on them by the ICC. A six-day hearing in Doha, Qatar failed to come up with a verdict on the various corruption charges that Salman Butt, Mohammad Asif and Mohammad Amir face over incidents in two Tests last summer against England.The very fact that the Oval Test was also under investigation, in addition to the Lord’s Test, provided a late twist to the final day of an ultimately anti-climactic six-day hearing. The players will remain provisionally suspended until they reconvene in Doha to hear the judgement of the ICC tribunal formed to deal with the spot-fixing case.At the end of a day of fevered speculation that concluded the hearing, Michael Beloff QC, the head of the tribunal and ICC code of conduct commissioner, finally made a statement alongside fellow tribunal members Albie Sachs and Sharad Rao.”The tribunal has been constituted to hear charges against Butt, Amir and Asif brought under the ICC’s anti-corruption code in relation to two Tests played during August 2010 between Pakistan and England, the Oval Test and the Lord’s Test,” Beloff said.The tribunal had not arrived at a verdict because, Beloff said, there had been representations made to the tribunal, “to reserve any decision on the charges… until it (the tribunal) has had sufficient time to give the issues careful consideration and until it is able, at the same time as handing down its decision, to provide written reasons.” The task of studying the issues at hand, arriving at a decision and issuing an in-depth hand-written reason for its decision, said Beloff, “would not be feasible in the timeframe agreed for this hearing in Doha.”The tribunal has therefore determined to continue its deliberations and hold a further hearing in Doha on the fifth of February of this year, at which its decisions will be handed down to the parties and any consequential matters will be dealt with. Until that date, all three players will remain suspended from all cricketing activities.”Until today a definitive decision had been expected from the lengthy tribunal hearings. In fact, it is believed that the ICC’s legal team was keen on having a verdict out today. But the gravity of the possible sanctions – which range from five years to a lifetime ban – the desire of the players’ lawyers to defer a verdict and the sheer weight of a six-day, 45-hour proceeding which featured oral and written testimonies and tapes, video recordings as well as forensic submissions, made a quick verdict impossible.The ICC’s lawyers, though, expressed “happiness with the way hearings have gone,” It is understood that in a bid to press for a verdict on Tuesday they withdrew all charges relating to the Oval Test, bar one against Butt.The hearings began last Thursday and were held behind the firmest of closed doors. There were no official statements were made at all during the hearings, though as proceedings continued, it became clear that differences between the defences of Butt and Asif had emerged, possibly hampering the cases of both players.An apparent contradiction, however, materialised soon after the tribunal’s statement. Though Beloff said that “all charges relating to the Lord’s Test remain under consideration,” Asif’s London-based legal firm said that on one charge relating to that match, Asif had, in fact, been acquitted.A statement from their office said that Asif was, “delighted to have been acquitted of the charges brought against him under article 2.4.1 in relation to the Lords Test Match, also played in August 2010.””Mohammad Asif has co-operated fully with the ICC investigations, and is now looking forward to a timely and satisfactory outcome in relation to the outstanding matters brought against him under the ICC’s Anti-Corruption Code for Players and Players Support Personnel.”The particular charge against Asif states that the code “prohibits providing or receiving any gift, payment or other benefit (whether of a monetary value or otherwise) in circumstances that the Player or Player Support Personnel might reasonably have expected could bring him/her or the sport of cricket into disrepute.”The charge, carrying a punishment of a six-month ban, appears a minor one compared to the other charges that Asif is facing. But the acquittal is thought to stem from the fact that no money was found in Asif’s hotel room in London during police investigations.Amir’s lawyer, Shahid Karim, who had earlier pushed for the deferment, indicated that the extra time would help his client prepare better to deal with the verdict. “The request we made to the tribunal has been accepted,” Karim said. “On February 5th if the punishment is harsh then we will discuss it with them so we will prepare for that. It is a hearing.”I am happy with the procedure of the hearing. The ICC code of conduct has a clause which points to looking at the player’s age and past disciplinary record and Amir is young, so we hope the tribunal will keep this in mind.”

Vale lembrar que o time se formou no primeiro semestre de 2017 e também conquistou duas medalhas no Circuito Mundial, na Holanda: ouro e prata.

Apesar do título brasileiro, a dupla campeã não terá muito tempo para comemorar. Nesta semana, Maria Elisa e Carol Solberg embarcam para a China. Elas vão disputar a etapa de Xiamen, do Circuito Mundial.

أكد عامر حسين رئيس لجنة المسابقات بالاتحاد المصري لكرة القدم وعضو رابطة الأندية، أن مشاركة الأهلي في بطولة كأس العالم أربكت حسابات جدول المسابقات المحلية.

ومن المقرر أن يُشارك الأهلي في بطولة كأس العالم للأندية النسخة المُقبلة في المغرب، في الفترة من أول فبراير وحتى يوم 11 من الشهر ذاته.

وقال عامر حسين في مداخلة عبر برنامج “بوكس تو بوكس” المُذاع على قناة “etc”: “مشاركة الأهلي في كأس العالم للأندية أحدثت ارتباكا كبيرا في جدول المسابقات المصرية، فوجئت بأن هناك حالة غضب بعدما صرحت مؤخرًا بأن الدوري المصري لن ينتهي في موعده”.

وتابع: “وضعت جدول 29 جولة بناءً على الأجندة الرسمية من فيفا وكاف، ومشاركة الأهلي كانت مفاجأة وليس عيبًا ما صرحت به أن تلك المشاركة أحدثت ارتباكًا في الجدول”.

وواصل: “البعض كان يُطالب بجدول طويل، والآن يتم الهجوم علينا بعد إعلان أن الدوري سيتأخر بسبب مشاركة الأهلي في المونديال، وفي الأساس لم يكن كأس العالم للأندية مُحددًا، ومشاركة المارد الأحمر لم تكن في الحسبان؛ لذلك كان من الصعب توقعها ووضع خطة بديلة لتفادي الأمر”.

وأوضح عامر حسين: “هناك ضغوط من كافة الجوانب، وفي النهاية أجد البعض غاضبًا من تصريحاتي الأخيرة، وحتى الدوري السعودي سيتم تأجيل فيه مباريات الهلال وبعدها سيتم ضغطها”.

وأردف: “الأهلي لديه مباراة يوم 10 فبراير في دوري أبطال إفريقيا، وسيتم تأجيلها أيضًا، وانتظر من الاتحاد الإفريقي تحديد الموعد البديل، وسيتم زيادة مؤجلات الأحمر بسبب هذه المباراة أيضًا، وأواجه انتقادات وضغوط من كافة الأندية”.

وشدد: “لا أستطيع أن أقوم بتأجيل كل مباريات الأندية الآخرى بسبب مواجهات الأهلي في كأس العالم للأندية وبطولة إفريقيا، كل الحلول مطروحة، ولن أعلن عن المواعيد حاليًا”.

وزاد: “من الطبيعي أن نؤجل مباريات الأهلي فقط، وليس تأجيل الدوري بالكامل، وكنا نخطط لإنهاء المنافسات في موعد محدد، وفي النهاية سنبحث عن أفضل الحلول للمصلحة العامة”.

واختتم: “نهائي كأس مصر (النسخة الماضية) كان من المفترض أن يكون يوم 3 فبراير، وسيتم تأجيله أيضًا حال تخطى الأهلي نظيره سموحة في نصف النهائي، كما لم أعلن مواعيد بطولة الكأس الجديد حتى انتهاء بطولة الموسم الماضي”.
